Rome Wasn't Built in a Day

The dearest, most enthusiastic, wonderful amuly has been promised art from me since we MET IN PERSON (it's like I met a celebrity, right??) back in May. She's starting her super awesome Master's Degree, and was feeling studious, so she requested a study-themed art-o-mine, and I came up with something decidedly UN-scholarly. XD

To explain the title a little bit, I originally called it "Patience" and the prompt I used as inspiration was a phrase I made famous in my family at the age of my icon, "I don't do patience." This is because, obviously, Padfoot does not DO patience, and he just can't WAIT for Moony to finish his essay to kiss his neck... But, anyway, I wanted a more eloquent saying, lol, than mine, so I set about looking for something equivilent to "Patience is a Virtue" or whatever.

I found a lot more fitting ones, but this one fits in such a better more awesome way, and still applies. It's turned into a lesson in patience for Padfoot that is more along the lines of Gandhi, "To lose patience is to lose the battle." - He can't just pounce on Moony, he's gotta build it up slowly. The whole phrase is "Rome was not built in a day & yet stood 'til it was finished."
